Great, clean hotel in Puerto Iguazu, right in the center of town and conveniently located across from the bus station. Amazing, huge breakfast included. The pool was absolutely lovely. A true oasis. The spa was wonderful as well. Highly recommend!
Dona Maria was a wonderful experience. Sebastian took care of all our needs and made sure my young son with celiac disease was cared for safely and had delicious food. Very grateful to be able to eat here. Thank you for a wonderful experience
Very run down and extremely poor customer service. We made our reservation months before our arrival and tried communicating with them for the entire time we booked and still were unable to resolve our booking issue. When we booked our room, the description said it had two queen beds, and one single, but after making our reservation was contacted by the hotel to say there was only one bed in the room. We had 3 of us in total-so that was not going to work for us. They ended up charging us an extra $50 on top of our original reservation. Hotel is old, run down and way overpriced-especially considering you don’t know what you’re getting until you make a reservation. After checking out we wanted to take the bus to the falls, and were unfamiliar with the area and where the bus stop was/how to get tickets etc and asked the front desk and they seemed annoyed with our questions and were not really helpful and the extent of the information they gave us was there was a bus stop on the corner. (For those that might have the same questions as us… there is a bus station caddy corner to the hotel in which there are several bus companies that provide rides to the Falls. There is a ticket office at the bus stop. You can use card or cash to purchase the tickets at the office but can only use cash when entering the bus itself. The bus comes about every 30 minutes starting at 7:30 in the morning. When going from one side of the bus station to the other you must use the bridge that’s on the second floor of the bus station they don’t allow pedestrians to walk on the ground floor from one side to the other) Also, in the hotel, our AC unit wouldn’t turn on and we had to ask someone from the front desk to come help get it working. Although they were eventually able to get it working it was short-lived after about an hour in the middle of the night it stopped working again. Although their breakfast had a lot of variety none of it was great quality the bread was dry the pastries were not very tasty and the only protein was some sausages and a sauce that was not very tasty. We were excited booking this hotel but were very disappointed by its condition and lack of customer service. Super unfortunate.
