Hotel Saint Germain

The place is very beautiful and clean, hotel staff made me feel like being part of a family. The rooms are big and the surroundings filled with surprising places: the Danube is close and also some historical buildings. There is a generous parking, good internet, a calm restaurant with great food and a beautiful terrace facing the river. Extremely good value for money.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, nice terrace for the summer (and spring and autumn), nice people. Most of the rooms don't have balconies, but there is one balcony accessible from the first floor hallway where people can smoke and, if they want, almost hug some high tree branches. 😎 If I remember well from back in 2019, the food is quite good (went several times to this terrace in that summer) and they had interesting beverages, too. Unfortunately, due to the current situation, we only had coffees from the restaurant in the morning, although, on a normal day we would have had happily the breakfast there (we were visiting our folks but stayed in the hotel to fulfill the pandemic restriction rules).

I have just recently celebrated my birthday at this wonderful establishment. All my guests were extremely pleased with the rooms, the service and the food. Everyone in the staff was very attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very clean and modern and you can always ask for a room overlooking the old Danube river. Their menu, a fusion of Romanian and Italian cuisine, is rich in choice, well balanced and all the dishes are cooked à la carte. Good wine selection as well. I strongly recommend Saint Germain! You won't be disappointed! Thank you all for making my birthday special!
