Lavue Hotel is located relatively close to the old center of St. Petersburg, overlooking the Neva River and the Indochina warship. The room is small enough for 2 people, clean, I rate it as only 3 stars. The buffet breakfast has a variety of dishes, but there is no change from day to day, every day during my stay.
The hotel is very so so, definitely not 4* hotel! What really shocked me when I was checking in is that u have to pay to go to the gym!!! Seriously?! It does not say anywhere when u make the reservation that u have to pay for the gym separately… I mean, hotel has a gym BUT u have to pay for it, nonsense, first time ever!!! The carpet in the room is not well vacuumed, can see that immediately when entering the room. The blanket/blankets are small… for a queen size bed there two small blankets not one. WiFi is horrible just very very very bad, it disconnects all the time, the signal is super weak.
