Hotel Saint Sulpice

We enjoyed our stay at Le Saint-Sulpice Montreal during late June. The room was clean when we arrived and housekeeping was consistently good. We liked the apartment-style room with its well stocked kitchenette, making it easy to make a quick meal. The room was thoughtfully designed with an enclosed section for the bed where doors can be shut to isolate it from the kitchenette/living area. We enjoyed little touches like the art they selected, the bedside lighting, and the built in closets available on each side of the bedroom. The location is excellent, and we enjoyed walking to different locations in the city. Valet: We did not experience any issues with the valet service. They advise that you notify the valet 20 minutes in advance of wanting to use your car, and they always had our car pulled up in the front of the hotel within 20 minutes. Heat/AC: We stayed in Montreal during an especially hot time period during late June (I believe it reached 90 F, or 32 C). The air conditioning worked wonderfully and cooled the room efficiently and quietly. Noise: As others noted, there is construction occurring near the hotel. During our stay, the construction did not block us from driving up the street and parking outside of the hotel. We did not hear any noise from the construction in our room, but our room was higher up (3rd floor) and further away from Saint-Paul St W.

Very spacious and clean rooms. Comfortable beds and excellent staff. Prices were very reasonable given its convenient location- easy walking distance to all Old Montreal sites, and the cleanliness and size of the rooms. Highly recommended.

Excellent dog friendly stay! Bed was firm and comfortable, room was very spacious and staff were super helpful. The only three tiny watch outs: -noise: our room was facing the main street and it was a bit noisy even at 1am -AC: super super loud/disruptive over night. Sounds like it's coming to end of life -Late check out: we were trying to gauge if there would be an option for later check out from the room and car retrieval from valet but it was met with very a bit cold/suspicious response. We would have been happy to pay to extend the room, we just needed the information to make our decision. In the end, they offered an extra hour but it felt like we were asking them to comp the whole stay.
