Hotel Salzburger Hof Zauchensee

Great hotel, great service, great crew. Especially the help and service with food allergies was outstanding. Thank you team Salzburgerhof. We had a great vacation with you in beautiful Zauchensee, Salzburgerland.

I visit this hotel every year for skiing with a group of friends but have just returned from a 4 night stay here with my partner in June to enjoy some hiking in the summer. Both seasons I can honestly say this hotel is faultless! The attention to detail, quality of food, location, beautiful furnishings and all the amenities are outstanding but the staff are simply incredible! From all the reception staff (but special shout out to Elizabeth is absolutely fantastic at dealing with anything and everything!) to the brilliant chefs who sieve delicious food day in and day out, the waiting staff are so friendly, bar staff and cleaning staff. The whole team is exceptional and the family owners are so welcoming and friendly. Thank you all, we had a fabulous holiday!! Can’t wait to return.

We ordered the kaischersmarren. Got something which seemed like it was made of old bread and microwaved. We send it back after one bite, didnt get a single apology or an replacement offer. When we brought this up at the register (they didnt even approach us in the mean time) we got the response "thats your taste and your problem" charged in full and no apologies. FOR A 4 STAR RESTAURANT, abdominale service. Wouldn't let anyone near these service Devils.
