Was here for 4 nights and booked the jacuzzi room. It was awesome. The tub worked great, Bed was comfortable, AC was cold, and the WI-FI was the best I’ve had in the Med so far. Nothing bad to say about this place at all. Breakfast was good too. I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but this place exceeded my expectations. The pizza place and Irish bar right next to the hotel is good as well. It’s 3km from the piazza leopardi train stop.
It was okay but I would not recommend it for a Honeymoon. The staff is friendly but everything is a bit old and outdated. The breakfast room is not very pretty- no daylight. But the coffee is okay.
Avoid this hotel at any cost. It is by far one of the worst hotels that I have stayed in so far. The 4 star rating does not reflect the price they charged us for the package (in excess of 90 euros a night). The true rating is 3 or less. So when you plan on staying, bear this in mind. So to start: 1. The hotel staff and guests can be completely oblivious to the fact that there are other guests trying to sleep. We had a loud crowd of Chinese guests who on the check in at 12am and checkout at 6:30am woke up everyone else by being extremely loud and noisey. It almost felt like we were in a fish market than a 4 star rated hotel. At no point did the staff remind the rowdy guests to be mindful of others in the building. 2. The towels provided are tattered and almost ready to be binned, but for some unknown reason the hotel deems them to be perfectly suitable for their guests’ use. In the toilet, the plug hole from the sink was missing, leaving you staring at a black unclean pipe everytimr you used the sink. The toilet was stained. In addition, the size of the shower is small, so good luck fitting in there. 3. The WiFi in this hotel is moody with wrong passwords provided so good luck connecting to the internet too. 4. You are provided with a kettle and some tea bags. However it will be a miracle if you had the right number of cups and any milk provided to you for your tea! (Despite requesting milk to be provided, the staff conveniently forgot) 5. Don’t have any high expectations regarding the roof garden. It’s barren as the Sahara and does not seem that any one has bothered making any effort to actually make one. It’s just a deceiving advertising effort to lure people into staying here. 6. This hotel far away from local train or metro station (15-20 minutes walk). The area is not so great either, you may feel as if you are in an area where you may want be careful and not go out when late. Think of safety especially if you have young family. 7. This hotel is very uncooperative in its attitude in general, so be extra cautious when you book as it’s not very sympathetic to extra night booked my mistake and refunding the amount.
