We had a wonderful experience on the island and in this specific hotel. Staff was smiley and very courteous, five stars for service. The food was delicious, we didnt even need to go to any other hotels and we are very picky with our food usually. The locals are happily sharing their island with the tourists. We did snorkeling, plancton watching, more snorkeling..and just relaxing in this paradise. We recommand Majagua hotel with no hesitation.

We stayed here 2 nights and we were very happy with our accommodations in the room called casa pelicano. The food was good and the service was great! I especially want to point out Donny at the beach bar who was exceptional with the service he provided and so polite and friendly. Jeremy at the front desk was also a pleasure to interact with. Honestly all the staff was great. This is our second time at this location and I’m sure we will be back

A hotel that caters to day pass guests who all show up at 930/10am, by the time you go to the beach all the nice cabanas are taken and many of the activities have been booked for the day pass visitors. The rooms are a bit old, it’s open floor so the bathroom has no privacy, the showers had no hot water in the hotel room. The electricity went out for a bit which also means no a/c. We tried to book our snorkel in advance but were told it had to be done at check in, by the time we arrived to the island all the snorkel times were booked by people on the day pass. Do not stay here it’s not a hotel for hotel guests it’s a hotel for day pass. Food was fine, service was slow and inattentive.
