Hotel San Teodoro

Natalia, at reception was super helpful! She explained everything that was available to us at the hotel and gave us a tour telling us where everything was. She even escorted us to our room. Natalia, is an excellent addition to your hotel, She was very pleasant and extremely helpful. The rest of the staff was also very helpful and courteous. Angelo the lifeguard/bar tender was also very helpful and courteous. Overall all the hotel was one of the best we stayed at on our vacation. Probably the best!

Not the cheapest at all, but not up to the expectation. Room is poorly decorated with the bare minimum. Bathroom without windows and to compensate (irony) dark by nature (literally no light inside, just a tiny light bulb that did not do anything). We were both skinny and could barely fit in the shower cabin, with nothing more than a not labeled product for you to use. The quality was just not in any decoration aspect. The outside area of the pool was actually well decorated. You need to rent towels to go to the pool, that's new for me. No welcoming water in the room. Infotainment/TV does anybody watch local TV if you are foreign? Lack a Chromecast device for you to watch whatever you want. It's not acceptable for a 4 star hotel, whatever that means nowadays. Our 3 other stays in Sardinia definitely compensated for this poor one.

The hotel looks nice and the stuff is very friendly. The breakfast is good and includes Prosecco. I only missed more vegetables and prosciutto. What I didn't like is a obligatory service charge of 10€ per day and per person. I stayed only for one night and should pay for services like parking, shuttle to the beach, pool towel and welcome water. I think in April during rainy days you don't really need it, but you have to pay for that. The hotel is outside of the town, so there is a lot of space, but parking is not for free. I also think, that the bottle of water should be included like a towel for the pool. It's not the cheapest hotel and I can't understand, why you should pay for this standard service an extra charge. I wish I had more cosmetic stuff in the bathroom, but there was only soup.
