Hotel San Terenzo

My wife and I stayed 7 nights here overall greatly enjoyed our stay with the beach at our doorstep and convenient access to Ferries etc for tours. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We took advantage of a particularly good value laundry service. It is a small hotel and the initial breakfast offering seems meagre, however it is just a case of asking and it is available. The only negative for me was the restaurant downstairs which is a separate business and I’ve not let it impact on this review but the service was slow.

The hotel is an older beach hotel so as long as you’re not expecting luxury than it’s a nice beach hotel! Pros : Overlooking the water is beautiful both day and night, balcony is a great size with table seating and seats to enjoy the view! being able to walk quickly to your room from swimming in the water, they have reserved seating for hotel guests on the rooftop solarium, a light continental breakfast is included, and staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Deborah!! Cons: older hotel so pretty small shower, it’s a 10-15 min walk to San Terenzo and 20-25 min to Lerici so its a bit of walking when you do it multiple times a day, walls are a bit thin so you can neighbors or the nightclub is nearby and you can hear the music pretty well, the hotel is in the middle of a beach club where you buy chairs for the day so a little busy but not terrible! If you are coming here with your family, it is a great spot!!! If you’re looking for something a little bit more romantic, I’d look elsewhere! Also If you do book here know that taxis can be difficult so when you get a good one get his contact info and it will make your trip much smoother, especially when traveling back n forth to la spezia for trains or tours !

This hotel is right next to the water which makes your morning and evening views amazing. Other than that the hotel is pretty much old and very tired of you and life itself. Breakfast was very simple as well. The staff is friendly. They also have an issue with parking which is in another location for about 1-2 km away.
