Hotel Sandhof

Absolute Gem of a hotel. The staff, food, room, spa was exceptional. Our favourite hotel in Austria. Special mention to our waiters Gabrielle & Nemanja. These guys worked so hard with Milo and chefs to make all our culinary dreams come true. The half board food was home cooked and delicious different every night. We loved the theme evenings too with live musicians. We thank you for making our ski holiday so special.

This hotel turned out to be excellent value for money. Based on the price, I was expecting a pragmatic sport hotel, but the Sandhof is actually a stylish hotel with plenty of luxury features and a witty, pro-active team. The standout feature is definitely the large communal table for dinner. It's big enough that you're not squeezed in with strangers, but the format makes it easy to strike up conversation with other travellers. The menu just consisted of hotel classic comfort food (club sandwich...) but what it lacked in innovation it boasted in quality. The easygoing vibe is helped by the personable, charming and attentive waiters. All the essentials, like sleep quality and breakfast, are delivered with flair.

Modern ski lodge accommodations. The bathrooms are updated and offer a lovely, spacious shower. Hotel is close to plenty of restaurants. The staff made check-in and check-out easy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Sandhof and would return or recommend to friends!
