Hotel Santa Caterina

I would give this hotel 6 stars if I could. They had the most incredible service I think I’ve ever experienced. Super attentive to your needs and requests, everything went smoothly - from the car transfers, dinner reservations, boat taxis, check in, room service, room cleaning etc. The staff are extremely friendly and work above and beyond to ensure everything is seamless. The breakfast is huge and extensive, the Al Mare restaurant is lovely and delicious, and the shining star is Glicine, the most incredible Michelin restaurant I’ve ever dined at. The beach club is also incredible, plenty of staff attending to you, always filling up your waters, replacing towels, adjusting umbrellas to keep you in the shade. The water is lovely to swim in and the highlight is that the pool is right there too, all in the same space. This hotel is truly a dream - don’t hesitate in booking, I cannot recommend it enough!

The food was delicious and authentic — a true celebration of traditional Italian cuisine. Every dish was well-executed, with fresh ingredients and classic flavors that reflect the region’s culinary heritage. You could taste the care in the preparation and the quality in every bite. Service was attentive yet discreet, allowing us to fully enjoy the evening without interruption. If you’re looking for a refined yet warm dining experience in Amalfi, Santa Caterina is a must. It’s ideal for couples or anyone wanting to soak in the beauty of the coast while enjoying genuinely good food in a sophisticated setting.

My husband and I got married at the hotel. We also stayed at the hotel for a few days. It was an amazing experience from start to finish . The service was impeccable. The breakfast was amazing. Dinner at the Michelin star restaurant was delicious. The attention to detail was outstanding. After our wedding dinner , one of the hosts had it planned for the pianist to play the wedding song as we exited the restaurant. It was small things like that, we will always remember.
