Hotel Santa Fe Los Cabos by Villa Group

We just spent a week here (January 19-26, 2025), what a beautiful place! The hotel is spotless (staff cleaning all the time). The food, absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. We tried all the restaurants (no need for reservations, just go!! Rooms were very clean — stocked fridge and your own bar. Lots of things to do, beach is wonderful (perhaps more signs about the danger for those that have not done their homework) .. a lady drowned the week we were there. We stayed in villa 3 — perfect location and noise free! Yes, be prepared to walk, the property is huge, but I loved the walking! They do offer a party atmosphere with adult pools, pick your pleasure. There is something for everyone, want quiet, they have that too! I would go back.. I actually wished we would have booked longer than a week! My only advice for the hotel: your pillows are great, and beds a bit too hard. Not sure if that varied from rooms or not.

I stayed at Hotel Santa Fe in December 2024 and had a great time. The location is excellent, close to restaurants, grocery shops and the Marina (10 minute walking). We didn't have a car and walked everywhere, it was pretty safe even at night. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, they suggested places to eat and beaches to go. The rooms is big and comfortable, there is air conditioning and lots of storage space. They serve a nice breakfast with pancakes, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee, and you can upgrade it to other options by paying a small fee. The only observation is: it is a busy neighborhood, there are pubs and people all around, and it can get very noisy during the night. It didn't bother me, but be aware if you have problems sleeping or can be disturbed by noise. Otherwise, I would definetely recommend and go back to the hotel!

Please avoid staying at this hotel. The hotel does not provide hot water, and you are forced to take cold showers. No one informed or warned us about this issue either before booking or upon check-in. When we reported the situation to the hotel manager the next day, the manager deceived us by saying it would be fixed that night, but in reality, nothing was fixed. We were traveling with children and could not accept the lack of hot water. After a long negotiation with both the hotel and the booking platform, Booking.com, the hotel finally agreed to let us check out, but the room charge for the night we had already stayed could not be refunded. When problems arose, the hotel did not honestly inform guests of the situation, but instead tried to retain customers through deception. Please avoid this hotel. Additionally, Booking.com did not provide an effective solution to our situation. At first, they simply asked us to “hang in there” for another night. Therefore, we also recommend avoiding booking through Booking.com.
