We had a very good experience during our two-night stay, even though the hotel was fully booked (last weekend before the school holidays). Everything was clean and well-organized despite the crowds. The buffet was amazing, with a wide variety of Javanese and Indonesian dishes. The location is excellent: right next to the Botanical Gardens and two shopping malls. A pleasant surprise in Indonesia: people walk, jog, and cycle around the Botanical Gardens in the evening. The hotel has a pool and a small fitness room. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. We had an issue with a room that smelled of smoke, but they quickly moved us and took care of everything. I think Europeans are more used to smoke-free spaces. I hope this becomes more common in Indonesia too.
Hotel Santika Bogor is my go-to place whenever I’m on a business trip to Bogor City. The location simply can’t be more strategic—it’s right in the heart of the city, with easy access to the toll road, directly connected to Botani Square Mall, and just across the street from the Bogor Botanical Gardens. Truly a perfect location. The room size is standard but comfortable enough for two people. The food selection offers good variety, and everything I tried was delicious. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Santika Bogor for both business and leisure stays.
Decent stay, but parking was a major downside. The hotel itself was okay, room and facilities were fairly standard and clean. However, the biggest issue was the "parking". Since the hotel shares its parking area with a large shopping mall, it was incredibly difficult to find a spot, especially during peak hours. It felt more like I was a mall guest than a hotel guest. Would recommend this place only if you're not bringing a car.
