Great hotel and we had an amazing stay. Upgraded room to double with king sized bed. Lovely interior and clean inside. Pool was closed off for the off season, but still had a lovely time. Would definitely stay again. It was just but far from things but take the bus and it’s all fine.

Nice hotel. Wish we had brushed up on our Spanish a bit more as not all staff spoke English, but we managed to get through conversations. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The breakfast buffet was lovely with lots of variety. The attached bar and bistro served lovely food, but our service from one waitress left much to be desired as she made us feel like we were a nuisance. When our server changed to one of the gentlemen, he was much more understanding of our broken Spanish and was lovely.

I booked this hotel through Booking.com, attracted by its Andalusian-inspired interior, which I must say was aesthetically pleasing. However, the service experience was truly unacceptable and left me and my mother very upset. Upon our arrival from the train station with 3–4 heavy suitcases, my elderly mother went ahead to the lobby and politely asked for assistance with the luggage. To our surprise, the staff seemed confused and showed no willingness to help—until she expressed frustration. Only then did someone from reception reluctantly come outside to assist, and he clearly stated it was not his job as the hotel had no bellboy. We found this extremely odd for a four-star hotel. This same receptionist was, ironically, the only friendly and helpful staff member we encountered during our stay. I wish I remembered his name—he at least showed basic courtesy and smiled, which was not the case with the rest of the staff. Later in the evening, we requested cutlery to eat some fruit in our room. The room service staff didn’t speak English and couldn’t understand the request. We then called the reception and were told that cutlery could be sent, but at a charge—which is quite unusual. When I kindly asked again, the receptionist hung up the phone in my face. My mother, deeply offended, called again and was met with rudeness. We decided to go down to the lobby to ask for a manager. What followed was shocking: the two managers who met with us were extremely rude, aggressive in their tone and body language, and acted in a way that felt intimidating—without physical contact, but certainly with threatening gestures and harsh treatment. We felt cornered, humiliated, and deeply uncomfortable. At that point, we made the decision to cut our stay short. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting respectful customer service. No guest deserves to be treated this way—especially not in a property that claims four-star standards.
