Hotel Saturnia & International

Hotel Saturnia is one of the best hotel I have ever had the stayed in. First of all, they greet you warmly when you arrive, then you're taken to your hotel room (which was SUPER nice), and then the next morning you have access to an epic buffet with every breakfast food you could think of! The location is also great, with easy access to the fashion district and pretty much everywhere else between the canals. I will say that it is a tad far from the water bus, so if you have a big luggage and you're not taking the water taxi, prepare to walk about 5-10 minutes.

This hotel is a great choice in Venice. It has a charming style and decor; quaint and atmospheric. Super location - very easy to access from the airport etc. Our room was quite small but perfectly comfortable, and had a lovely little balcony. The rooftop area is also a fantastic amenity. The downstairs restaurant (La Caravella) and bar are both excellent and highly recommended. Breakfast was very good and we particularly appreciated Valeria's kindness and helpfulness. The only improvement we would suggest would be for the air con to be controlled in the room, rather than via the front desk. However, this did not have a major impact on our stay and we would happily book this hotel again on our next trip.

This was the nicest accommodation of our stay in Italy. Hotel atmosphere, location, staff, cleanliness was all 5 stars. Our only disappointment was we didn't stay longer. This historic hotel has lots of character and several seating areas allow for relaxation. The bar area accommodated our group well when we played some cards. I was very appreciative of a little early check in after a long train ride from our previous location. Thank you to the staff and owners for such a great hotel and making our stay so enjoyable!!
