Hotel Savera

Rooms are old fashioned but very spacious, their Malgudi restaurant steals the show, nice food with a variety of menu. Hotel equipped with all facilities like swimming gym spa. Highly recommended for staying near marina beach.

Whenever you check in, make sure you check if all the kits etc are there like shaving n dental kit, sampoo body lotion hand towel. These are the common things that should have been available before checking in but I had to make multiple calls to have it given. Breakfast is just fine.

Very poor hotel. Definitely not worth for the money. Service is very poor. You wont get what you have asked. You have to call them multiple times to get it done. Rooms are spacious but smells very bad (I guess it's old wood smell), water is not filling quickly in toilets and hence you have to wait for long time to flush second time. Water flows in both Head shower and hand shower at the same time. Paint falls from roof. Light Transparent white curtains are really annoying while too many lights inside room already. Old broken cups when asked room service people they said its not their responsibility! They are thinking keeping 10s of Security/Manager/Safari suited like people everywhere is a value for Start hotel. This may be a good option for Old Madras Nostalgic option. Holiday will be simply wasted. Surprised to see lot of positive reviews.
