Hotel Savoy

This hotel is our absolute favorite when visiting Grado. The staff here deliver a level of customer service that is hard to beat! The front desk is efficient and professional with check-in and check-out, as well as additional guest-related requests. The rooms are nicely appointed and provide a good atmosphere for rest and relaxation. The housekeeping staff are also attentive to personal requests and checking with their guests. We decided to try the breakfast and dinner plan this time. Food was fresh and tasty, and dining on their terrace was delightful. Adriano and all the wait staff do a marvelous job making your dining experience a very positive one. Many thanks to you all (Romina...you were especially kind and sincere in always greeting and welcoming us to the restaurant), it always brightened our day. The pool and garden area are meticulously well-manicured and provide for a very nice outdoor atmosphere to enjoy. Having a saltwater pool is definitely an added bonus as well. If you are looking for a great upscale place to relax in Grado, this is the place for you! Great job to everyone at Hotel Savoy! You made our stay a very enjoyable one and we will definitely be back again.

This is a big hotel with different room areas, some rooms are small, but the hotel also has very spacious 2-bedroom rooms with large balkonies. The views, howevere, are not very spectacular. Everything looks a little outdated, but still is in a good working contition. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are kept clean. The staff is very, very friendly. The food is fantastic, very fresh and tasty. And it is always a lot there, almost too much. Very good wine choice. The pool area is huge, a lot of space there. A separate pool for children. The beach is within 5 min walk. Small supermarket, pharmacy and all different kinds of shops are nearby.

A nice renovated hotel with great staff who deserve 6 stars out of 5 !! According to the locals this is the best hotel in Grado. We can follow that point of view, although there is still work for the management: the breakfast is quite monotonous, without a glass of bubbles, without a piece of salmon or other smoked fish. 3 standard types of cheese and charcuterie is really too little, despite the choice of on the spot made egg dishes and a pancake. In addition, rooms with air conditioning are offered, but in May it is apparently not in operation, and is not activated when asked. An additional Dyson air blower was the questionable solution for the warm room. During the renovation, apparently little attention was paid to the sound insulation between the rooms. The daily telephone conversation of the neighbor could be clearly heard. No, for a hotel that likes to profile itself as a 4*S or even 5* hotel these are negative points. A bit of a shame for all the other good things, therefore the total rating is a bit lower to make the management aware of the shortcomings.
