Hotel Saxenhof der Rhöner Botschaft

We went to Björns Ox restaurant and stayed the night at the Rhöner Botschaft hotel. The hotel has very nice rooms, excellent breakfast and really good service, Björns Ox restaurant is an absolute gem. Fantastic local food, deliciously arranged in 8 courses with a corresponding drink pairing. Super nice service, food and drinks well explained. Björn came to each table at the end of the evening and explained a bit about the restaurants philosophy and his journey. I strongly recommend this restaurant and would come back anytime.

Our stay at Rhoener Botschaft couldn't have been better! The service was friendly and always promptly available to help. The room had a wonderful view of the town and the surrounding hills, and it was extremely quiet even though the hotel is located at the center of the town. The dining room was spacious and inviting. The food was superb; a buffet breakfast that included about 12 different jams, freshly sliced smoked ham, breads, rolls, and fresh juices, and on request you could get eggs, cheeses and delicious cold cuts. At dinner you could choose from non-meat/fish courses and meat courses, and you could switch between the two options. Each course was very creative and thoughtfully composed. Expansive wine list. Great value for the money; I'd go back in a heart beat and highly recommend Rhoener Botschaft!

We had breakfast here. I was really impressed with how amazing the food was. The waitress Yvonne was very attentive. Highly recommend!
