Hotel Sb Bcn Events 4 Sup

This is a great 4-star hotel. It is mainly for events, and I was there at the partners' international conference for about four days. The food is good, not great, but it is recommended for those who have an acquired taste. Breakfast was much better, and the coffee was exceptionally delicious. There is a nearby shopping center and some fast food places in the area. The area is more an industrial area, and there are some suburbs across the roads from the hotel. Overall, the place is mainly for events and conferences.

It’s a shame that such a good hotel ruins it’s image because of their breakfast. If you decide to come, rooms are quite good but I suggest you don’t have breakfast. I’ve reached out the Front Desk who told me to talk to Agustin, the head of breakfast. Agustin acknowledged they run out of bread. You check the attached pictures to see how food is lacking: Spanish omelette, olive oil, fruits, bread and even pastries. Agustin asked me if I was staying longer, he was perhaps looking for some treat, but as a genuine complaint I was not expecting any waivers. I just feel that what you pay for breakfast is not what you get. A real pitty, as the hotel has really high standards. Hotel is close to a shopping mall, near the beaches and 15 minutes from the airport. Rate price is also very good. Just avoid breakfast and you will be very happy.

Overall a good hotel. I’ve only used it for short stays and for that purpose it’s really good. I find the staff friendly and helpful and enjoyed my stays there. The area the hotel is located in, might appeal to some, while others find it a bit annoying. It’s five minutes from the airport, with the C-32 express way running right past it. The outdoor area has a nice pool, and a bar/restaurant with some lounge facilities. A beer is €7 which I find a bit steep. The town of Castelldefels has a few malls, an old castle, a park and a massive canal with a cablepark, and it has a really nice beachfront 20 minutes walk from the hotel. There’s a train station 10 minutes walk away that can get you to Barcelona in under 15 minutes, and works really well.
