Hotel SB Ciutat Tarragona

I like this hotel very much. The service was excellent and breakfast was delicious. The staff in the restaurant is very nice. They made sure that I was satisfied with the service. The only problem in the room was with ac. It wasn't cool enough. This hotel has a very nice terrace.

I went here for five days. the hotel looked nice, and the layout was easy to figure out. Restaurant was on the first floor, and it was a buffet. the options and food variety could definitely be expanded a little bit, but i understand that they wouldn’t want to stray too far from the local cuisine. The desserts were nice though, and so were the breakfast options. my friend really liked the spanish omelet. the location is nice, it’s near a beach, shopping mall, convenience store — so right in the middle of a city centre, but it’s surprising quiet. However, when i stayed there was some sort of festival happening, you could hear the fireworks and the main celebrations weren’t too far away, but you weren’t right in the middle so it wasn’t disruptive. air con worked, couldn’t figure out the tv though. one photo is the view from my room, and the other is just outside.

The room was spacious enough and clean. The main bed had a very hard and uncomfortable mattress. The second bed had an even worse mattress. The AC did not work and the room was too hot to sleep comfortably. The gym is not a gym. No space, no weights, on running machine, stationary bike and elliptical. The pool is on the roof, but very small. The concierge told us that parking would be 17€. It was 36€ instead. Not at all satisfied with the service and helpfulness of front desk staff.
