I spent one night here 22/23.07.2022 The receptionist was unpleasant and he had problem with paying for the beer by card instead of money. I visited this place because my flight was cancelled and Lufthansa took me to this place. The room was clean but unfortunately without air conditioning what was uncomfortable for me. The breakfast was very good and the service was excellent in a restaurant. Another receptionist (23.07.2022 morning) was very helpful and very nice. 4/5 because of the first receptionist and no ac in the room.
Family stayed here, and while we booked via a 3rd party website, we were considered VIP and should have been acknowledged of that and were not. Upon check in we thought the hotel to be cute and dated for sure. Take in the experience is what we thought. The hotel is dated for sure in the rooms, and hallways and could use an update. The rooms are clean and served their purpose, a bed, shower and safe place to sleep for the evening. Rooms are quiet which is nice. We only ate the in the restaurant for breakfast and nothing we were handed told us that we had a charge to pay per person per day for the food, not even their fliers and information posted showed that there would be a cost. After the first day we found that the coffee machine was no longer working and couldn’t get coffee unless with the wait staff which was fine, but after finding that we had to pay $20 pp per day for breakfast on check out we were appalled. The front desk staff was polite, but not very informative of what we should expect. Disappointed to have to pay quite a pretty penny on breakfast that was definitely NOT worth the cost. Location was not bad, we could easily get on and off the highways as needed, there is a nice restaurant across the street, and a few backeri as well.
We visited Munich for our honeymoon but didn't want to stay in the city center. This hotels location is very accessible to public transportation and easy to get around. There is a supermarket and shops close by. Rooms were a bit outdated but clean and worked for our stay. The day of check out we lost the track of time and day and called the receptionist to let her know we would be there asap to clear room. She made it sound over the phone like everything was okay and said we would figure it out. When we got back to hotel she charged us another night stay, I expected a fee but not a full night. When we asked for hotel manager she said he was completing interview and would be done in 15 min. We came back down to lobby with all our things and the manager was no where to be found. This left us with a negative experience after having fun in Munich.
