Hotel Schweizer Hof Thermal und Vital Resort

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel last weekend. The friendly and helpful staff were such a surprise, considering we were in Germany! If the bedrooms had air conditioning then I'd give them 5-stars but sadly they didn't and the mattresses were too soft. Everything else about the place was just excellent, a very enjoyable weekend was had and I'd happily revisit any time.

We enjoyed our two-week stay at Schweizer Hof very much. Everything met our high expectations: The suite was roomy and well-appointed, the breakfast offered many choices of high-quality items, the thermal and sauna areas are excellent. Even when the hotel was full, there was no crowding in the thermal bath but breakfast was a bit of a chaos -- too many people for the capacity of the room; wait-time for a table on several mornings. Housekeeping did an outstanding job; suite was always thoroughly cleaned and supplied. Only negative: It's an 'adults only' hotel and on several days there were young children in the thermal pool, using it as a diving and swimming pool -- which it isn't intended to be!

Excellent hotel in very central location with easy access to everything that Bad Füssing has to offer. The pool and sauna areas are gorgeous and done with great attention to detail. There are two regular saunas and in addition some special rooms, like an Amethyst steam bath, a laconium, a sea salt water room and more. The hotel is planning to build an outdoor pool soon. We stayed in a very spacious suite that had a beautiful bathroom, comfy lounge area, a mini fridge, microwave and electric water kettle. The food - breakfast and dinner - was always delicious with plenty of choices from the buffet area. I very highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again!
