Hotel Schweizerhof Zürich

A truly family friendly property. The level of service and friendly demeanor of all the staff was impressive and appreciated. Location is superb if you’re looking to use the Swiss rail system or do shopping in Zurich. While the rooms could use an update they were clean and comfortable. In particular my kids were enamored with a wonderful concierge named Frederica who was so kind and loving with our children. And she gave us phenomenal restaurant suggestions. We look forward to returning to the hotel for future trips to amazing Switzerland.

Situated just steps from the central station, the location is unbeatable—perfect for exploring the city or catching a train. Our room was elegantly furnished, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the comforts we could hope for—luxurious bedding, modern amenities, and thoughtful touches throughout. Service at the Schweizerhof was truly outstanding. From the friendly concierge offering insider tips on Zurich’s best spots to the attentive reception and housekeeping teams, every staff member went above and beyond. The breakfast buffet was a delight—fresh, varied, and beautifully presented, including regional pastries, high-quality coffee, and healthy options. We also loved the elegant lobby bar, where we enjoyed a relaxing drink in a refined atmosphere. Whether for business or pleasure, this hotel blends classic charm with contemporary convenience perfectly. A stay here feels both sophisticated and inviting—highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return!

Deeply disappointing stay at Schweizerhof Zürich. I booked a Superior Double Room based on the hotel’s own website — but the room I received was far below expectations: small window, awkward split bathroom, and connecting doors to two other rooms, which made it noisy and uncomfortable. Worse, the front desk staff were dismissive and unhelpful. When I raised my concerns, I was told, in essence, “take it or leave it.” I left after one night. They refunded only one night, but that doesn’t fix the misleading advertising and poor service. This hotel does not live up to Swiss standards, and I would not recommend it to anyone expecting professionalism or honesty.
