Hotel Seeblick

Nice hotel at the lake. Great If you want to take a walk in the surroundings or do some bird spotting. Food was good as well. Alll for resonable prices. Great breakfast included.

We only stopped briefly for some drinks, which were fine. The location is very nice (given good weather), but the terrace overviewing the lake also means that drinks here are quite expensive. Service was ok.

We liked the hotel room but we disliked the hotel restaurant experience. The food didn't live up to the expectations. The meat was not prepared the way it should have been and the waitress who spoke no English just took my plate away and then another waitress (who didn't speak English either) brought the same plate back. No apology, no explanation, nothing, she just said "Bitte schon." This created a very awkward situation. Regardless of this experience, I also disliked how the serving was configured. The ratio of each component on the plate just didn't make sense to me. It was just a weird experience and also very expensive. If I were to eat here again, I would say no. Oh and in the morning at 6:40 AM we got a 'lovely' wake up call from the big (probably garbage/delivery) truck that was idling right underneath the windows of our hotel room for quite some time. So despite the very quiet and serene location in the middle of nowhere, the sleep which we had was definitely not calm.
