I stayed at this lovely hotel for 5 nights with my mother. First of all, we were warmly and kindly welcomed by Ruben, who was extremely friendly. All of the staff were incredibly cheerful and helpful throughout our stay. I’d like to thank the whole team for their kindness, they were always very understanding and generous. However, a special thanks goes to Ruben, who personally took care of us and helped with every issue we had. Thank you so much for everything. If I ever come back to Barcelona, I will definitely stay here again!
I have no idea how this is a 4 star hotel- please be aware this appears more of a 3 star. The rooms are basically empty, the furniture is very old and damage all over. No kettle.. just a fridge full of food/drinks that you actually have to pay for to use - they don’t tell you this until you leave. The TV doesn’t work in any language other than Spanish. The view from our room was the best part, it was lovely, the staff were great. But the hotel must have an update in the rooms.. very dated and cheap rooms.
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel, which fell far below the standards I expected. When booking, I was led to believe your hotel would offer convenient amenities and a comfortable experience. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Upon arrival, we found no shops or restaurants nearby, meaning there was nowhere to get food without considerable travel. To make matters worse, your bar and pool facilities were closed, and the air conditioning in our room did not work, leaving the environment uncomfortable and unpleasant. Additionally, the hotel is much further from the centre of Barcelona than advertised — a 40-minute drive each way — making it highly inconvenient for our plans. Due to the combination of poor service, lack of available facilities, and overall inaccessibility, we were forced to cut our stay short and find alternative accommodation after just one night, despite planning for three nights. This experience was extremely disappointing and disrupted what was meant to be an enjoyable trip. I believe some form of compensation is appropriate under these circumstances. I look forward to your prompt response.
