Perfect spot in the heart of the city. We just lived this hotel. The breakfast is great. I suggest you include with your room. And don’t forget to check out the roof top bar. Great views. Some rooms are small, request a king size bed for some more space. Enjoy. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was, without exaggeration, the worst hotel stay of my life. The nightmare began when I discovered the room was nothing like the pictures online — it was shockingly small and run-down. But things went from bad to horrifying when, in the bathroom, the ceiling literally fell on my head. Yes, the actual ceiling came crashing down. Instead of offering a proper solution, the “compensation” they gave me was an even smaller room — if that’s even possible. No refund, no upgrade, nothing to match the seriousness of what happened. The room also had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the bed sheets reeked as well. To make it worse, there were visible stains on the sheets. Completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be 4 stars. Between the unsafe conditions, the misleading photos, the awful smell, and the lack of real compensation, I cannot warn people enough: do not book this hotel.

We had booked an 8-night stay at Hotel SERHS Rivoli Rambla for a special occasion – my husband’s birthday – after saving for many months. I am a working mother and a graduate student, and my husband is a person with a disability who is not employed. This trip was meant to be a rare and meaningful break for us. Due to the sudden and serious war between Israel and Iran, all flights to and from Israel were canceled and the airspace was closed, making it physically impossible for us to arrive at the hotel. We immediately contacted the hotel, explained our situation in detail, and respectfully requested either a refund of €1,420 we had paid in advance or a credit/voucher for a future stay, once flights resume. Sadly, the hotel ignored our requests, refused to acknowledge the extraordinary situation we were facing, and showed no flexibility, compassion, or basic customer care. We were met with silence or flat refusals, despite the clear force majeure nature of the crisis. This is not how a reputable hotel should treat guests – especially those who were prevented by war from arriving. It’s not about money alone; it’s about basic human decency. We are truly disappointed and will not recommend this hotel to anyone. If this is how they treat their guests in moments of genuine need, we suggest you look elsewhere for your stay.
