Hotel Servigroup La Zenia

Everything was perfect; lovely comfortable room, great view, excellent staff and service in all departments, great food selection (we were on full board), loved the fresh fish or meats cooked as you watched. We hope to return soon to your excellent hotel. We were very happy with everything, it is our favourite hotel out of many we have stayed at over the years throughout the Mediterranean.

I didn't hold out too much hope for this hotel but have been proved wrong. Delightful location, clean,bright and comfortable rooms albeit a little old fashioned. Only negative is the cheap toilet roll. No kettle or mini bar but not an issue for us. Some old school entertainment in the bar at night if that's your cup of tea. lovely beaches on either side. Breakfast ok if you pick carefully but they did have proper bacon so a big positive there, coffee not the best.. 15 minute walk up to la zenia Boulevard and another 20 to 25 up to villamartin. Do your research on restaurants in the area, quite hard to find quality. The Indian restaurant called Indigo was good as well as the Italian next door. Darbys restaurant 15 minutes away was also very good. Honourable mention for Chino Bienvendio as well.

Okay in my opinion this wasn’t a great stay for me. The food was terrible, cold and always cross contaminated with the tongs used. The food had no taste whatsoever and the options were shocking. Staff seem so miserable here too, especially in the diner. The rooms were very clean i will say that. In fact the whole hotel was spotless. There was no entertainment like advertised and my stay was 10 days. Great location as next to the beach. But unfortunately the food and the fact that there was nothing in the hotel let it down. My first time staying and i won’t be going again.
