This hotel is clean,modern ,warm in winter,has rich breakfast for all needs and tastes,the personnel ready to serve always polite and welcoming! It was above my expectations!I strongly recommend it !Keep on the high quality of services!Kiitos!!
Hotell Seurahuone was a friendly place to spend one night. The room wasn't super comfortable, there was some damage on the floor, probably from the moisture. One of the beds was very soft, with some broken strings. But the shower was nice with hot water, and it was very quiet during the night. So we had a good sleep. Restaurant was modern and clean, and I would give four stars for the breakfast.
I wanted to rate higher but we came in summer and were on the top floor. And even though it was around 15 at night and fan on... there's no AC, just a fan. I don't mind that the rooms are pretty dated, no renovation in the last 30+ years it seems. We could even have done without AC, but the room was so poorly ventilated. We opened the windows but the street was so noisy. I did not sleep more than an hour. Some staff were quite helpful and friendly, others were rude and not knowledgable about a very small town (we went across town to an Apteekki when there's one right up the street). Breakfast was decent but the coffee was inexcusably awful. Really though, this place could be so charming but it just needed a little more for our stay to be comfy.
