Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Shambala! The hospitality was top-notch – the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. Clean rooms, great service, and a relaxing rooftop pool made it the perfect place to unwind in Kathmandu. Highly recommend!
Beautiful Tibetan-themed boutique hotel with a peaceful vibe. The rooftop infinity pool and mountain views are stunning. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-designed. Staff are friendly and helpful. A perfect blend of culture, comfort, and hospitality in Kathmandu😊
I stayed here for 2 nights before my trek and 4 nights after. The staff here is great, extremely friendly and everyone is very helpful. The included breakfast has a wide selection (although all the baked goods were a bit stale). The Cloud Nine rooftop dining area, bar, and pool are very impressive and it was a fun spot to bring my local friends, several times. The views of the city are cool too. It was the only place I could find the Barahsinghe Hazy IPA, if you are into beer (not the commonly available Pilsner). The hotel's is convenient, too, only about 20 minutes from the airport (TIA) and Thamel. Price-wise I found it very reasonable as well. I found this Nepali hotel with Tibetan themes more enjoyable than a more western oriented place. I heartily recommend it.
