Hotel Shattuck Plaza

What a great stay!!! Just one night stay while seeing a show at the Greek. Rooms are small but nice. Beds are very comfortable. Location is fantastic to restaurants and bars. But the biggest standout was the incredible staff. Danny, Jackie and Alan all went above and beyond to insure our stay was spectacular. Can’t wait to return!!

Such a great hotel in a perfect location in Berkeley. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast is stellar - and super walkable distance from downtown and the campus. Janea made checking in and checking out super easy - and was so friendly when arriving. Absolutely recommend!

I had a wonderful three-night stay at Hotel Shattuck Plaza during a recent business trip to Berkeley. The location couldn’t have been better — close to the Berkeley campus, the BART station, and lots of great restaurants. The staff was warm and polite throughout my stay, and a special thanks to Castro for her kindness and excellent lunch recommendation. My room was clean, quiet, and beautifully appointed. I especially loved the comfortable bed, soft linens, and perfect pillows — plus I was lucky enough to have a view of the Golden Gate Bridge! Although the hotel’s restaurant was just okay, everything else more than made up for it. The bar can get lively in the evenings, but my floor remained quiet, and I slept really well. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area for business or leisure!
