Hotel Shigira Mirage

I stayed at Shigira Mirage Beachfront. The deluxe ocean view room was wonderful. It had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Staff were very helpful.

A beautiful hotel on a beachfront resort strip. The room was very clean, quiet, full of amenities, and comfortable to sleep in. Indoor washer/dryer is a life saver because you'll dirty a lot of clothes playing outside. The Western brunch is not good so only buy it if you're lazy in the morning. I heard the bento restaurant was better. (It has things I can't eat so I didn't try it.) You may be tempted to stay in the resort but you really should explore. The resort is fast food and manufactured beaches. Don't forget you're on a beautiful island that's easy to travel around. Bring sunblock. Watch out for angry lagoon trigger fish. One recurring problem at this hotel is that you're only allowed one room key. I can't recommend a long stay for this one reason. At some point your personal plans will diverge and somebody gets stuck waiting.

We stayed 2 nights The best part of the holiday was mr Ryosuke Sato our concierge , he saved us ! He gave us great information, Booked Restaurants for us and went out of his way to make us feel happy welcome and relaxed. I cannot say the same about the breakfast staff who never seem to smile and did not try hard enough. The location of the hotel is very good but the beach is underwhelming. It is very small. We decided to leave a day earlier and move another hotel that was more suitable for us with superior service a better beach and was more welcoming .
