Hotel Shikanoyu

I read a lot of bad reviews for this hotel and I felt a bit scared. But when I went here and stayed, WOW this hotel is my favourite one of my 5 hotels of this Hokkaido trip. I love how HUGE of the onsen(public bath) they have. The vibe of their public bath made me feel like going back to the old traditional japanese tavern. I really enjoy staying here. Food was GREAT. I enjoyed their offers 2 meals so much. The room is also given me the old japanese manga vibe like Doraemon's Nobita house. It impressed me and I think my Hokkaido trip next time I would come to this place again.

Satisfying onsen and staycation experience in Jozankei, for me the buffet is very good have a lot of choices and Salmon are very fresh. Room also very nice, looks very new too. Really love it!!!

- One of the hotels nearest to the public bus stop -Free hotel shuttle bus from/to Sapporo - A large hotel, interlinked with another hotel at the 4th floor - Large indoor onsens, the semi outdoor onsen is of spacious size - The room and the tatami were well maintained - Breakfast and dinner were in buffet style, the quality of individual dishes is quite good, while the overall quality and experience is proportional to the relatively low price among the price spectrum of the Jozankei area - A lot of Korean tours during my stay
