Hotel Sin Nombre

We stayed four nights at Hotel Sin Nombre and really enjoyed it! The staff is incredibly attentive and hospitable and the food is delicious. This was a great place for our small group of three couples to use as home base during our time in Oaxaca. It’s walkable and has great vibes. I cannot say enough about the staff! The room we were in didn’t have a window and it was pretty dark. Good for sleeping, not great for trying to do much else. We weren’t in the room much so it worked out. They also updated their wifi while we were staying there and it was a huge improvement! Definitely recommend!

I had a decent experience with the hotel until after I checked out. On our last day, as we were heading out the door, the front desk comes running up to me to tell me that they couldn't find their laundry bag. After confirming with my mom that she did indeed take it, I told the hotel to go ahead and charge it. The price aside (500 MEX for a flimsy tote bag, which my mom had misunderstood from the concierge that it would be free), we did take it so paying for it wasn't an issue. However, a day later, I found out the hotel charged me for two bags. After speaking with the hotel, they advised that a second shoe bag was also missing. We did not take this second bag, and the hotel agreed to refund me. That was in August. After numerous emails between myself and the hotel, whereby the hotel advised over and over again that they would process the refund, they still have yet to do so. Not only that, they said the only way to refund is for me to provide them my bank's wiring information. Update: the hotel did ultimately refund me. This took much longer than expected but in the end was resolved. Updated to reflect overall quality of the stay, which is, as stated before, exceptional.

We used HSN for our wedding hotel block. We had some issues with room rates and expectations due to a renovation change, ended up being a headache and worst part of the experience. Once we arrived the staff was extremely accommodating and attentive. Some of the rooms are very small and dark with no windows and can get very humid. It's a beautiful hotel and great location.
