Hotel Sindelfingen City

I felt good at the time I spent here. The staff are very kind. Breakfast is delicious and I can be varied to foods my taste. The room I got was very nice and modern. My favorite furniture was the armchair. The hotel has a good location because it is near to everything. Thanks for this little time I was here.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. Hotel was clean and updated for the price (I was in a deluxe/updated room). Breakfast exceeded my expectations in its variety, and there was a nice espresso machine. Staff were friendly, knowledgable, and quick for check-in and check-out. Room was quiet. Little details make a difference, like the cellphone chargers in the lobby and handwritten "safe travels" note. FreeNow/MyTaxi is the local Uber and was always available for pick-up in less than 5 minutes. A grocery store is located 3 minute walk away so I did that for dinner once. Location within walking distance to Daimler offers. Only note was that many people were smoking outside and in the attached restaurant, and that is something I'm not useful being from the U.S. since it is illegal where I'm from. Other hotels in Stuttgart have a larger property and do not allow smoking in the restaurant.

Overall a nice hotel for a short visit. For those not familiar with European standards there is nothing "free". The "complimentary" breakfast is 10 Euros per visit. The room, to include the bathroom, was surprisingly large, but the set up for my room was odd. The non-rotating television was perpendicular to the bed. The furniture seemed like it was from the 70s and equally uncomfortable. The bed was decent. I would probably stay again since it was very close to nice places to eat.
