Great location in easy walking distance to Salamanca's historic centre, spacious room, no-fuss breakfast. some noise from bars and restaurants nearby.
Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Parking is available at 16.5 euro/ day/ night. You can choose to park outside this area for a fee or further down outside of monument area for free. Very central and accessible to the highlights. Rooms can be a bit noisy during the day if you’re sleeping in during housekeeping!
he hotel is located in the center of the historic district, on a beautiful square surrounded by old buildings. This has its advantages, as all the historical landmarks are within walking distance, but also its downsides—it’s very difficult to access by car. The hotel description mentioned that parking was available, but unfortunately, it was completely full, so we had to leave our car in the nearest covered parking lot. And let’s not forget that this is Spain, where things can easily be stolen from your car. Pros: The room was beautifully decorated in a classic style, with a very nice and clean bathroom. Overall, the room was spotless and had a pleasant scent. Cons: Upon check-in, we were charged an additional fee of €30 for bringing a small dog into the room. Breakfast was not included in the price, so we paid €14 per person—and we were disappointed. The selection was extremely limited: just a couple of types of cheese and salami, barely any vegetables, scrambled eggs, and ice-cold boiled eggs. If you’re planning to stay at this hotel, skip the breakfast—it’s a waste of money. For just €5 more, you can eat somewhere else, where the food will be 100 times tastier, more filling, and healthier. When we went to bed, we noticed a pair of earplugs on the bedside table. At first, I didn’t understand why they were there, since hotels rarely provide them. But by midnight, it became clear. Right below the hotel, there are bars and clubs. People drink, party, and talk loudly until morning, so getting a good night’s sleep is unlikely. Verdict: Is this hotel worth the money, or should you look for something else? Definitely the second option.
