Hotel Soho Boutique Vistahermosa

Nice place to stay, beautiful rooms. It is located in a good area, a little far from the beach walking, but close to a nice are for dinning. The staff is nice and overall very recommended.

Luxury without frills, a great hotel to stay with family and friends. Delicious breakfast and super kind staff. Great for an informal yet very comfortable stay. The gardens are beautiful and filled with unique plants, three outdoor and one indoor pool. I have stayed several times and became my preferred hotel in town

This hotel promises a lot, but falls woefully short. The good. The location. Nice little area around the hotel. Although not central to the old town, it's a relaxing area within walking distance. Parking is good and it's not far from the port and beach. The building and gardens/paths are very nice. Old Spanish style. Although not what I'd call boutique. If you're looking for modern style this isn't for you. But it's well done. The reception is welcoming as are the staff. We had a premium room and the size was excellent. The main garden and pool are very good and well kept. Unfortunately it all goes quite badly wrong from there. And in a big way. Firstly the room. The carpet was very dirty. Stains all-over it. Shocking really. The mattress, although a large 180cm it was the old fashioned caged sprung mattress. So one person moves and the whole thing is bouncing. No comfy topper that we could notice. The pillows were the cheapest unpleasant type I've had to endure for years. And only one per person in the room. The terrace furniture looks like it came from the cheapest chinese shop possible.The bathroom. Dangerously slippy shower tray from decades ago. Only one vanity unit. A corner bath but only really for 1 person as the tap wa so large and over one end its impossible for two to use. Also no jacuzzi or hidromasaje option. Keep in mind, these are not cheap rooms and they call them Premium. Far from it. Now to the premium pool and spa area. Dangerous is the best way to describe this area. The decking is broken in several places l, my foot went through part of it. Jaggered wooden edges at the lip of the decking around the pool. Exposed screws and bolts everywhere. The steel saftety handle at the pool steps wasn't attached at the bottom. So using it meant you would likely fall over or pull it onto your own feet. Care needed not to hurt yourself. No bar or waiter service at the "Premium pool" either. Also the sun loungers were very uncomfortable and short. The matresses were filthy too. Atleast they provide old towles. (If you fail to return the old towel they want €25 per towel) They should be thrown in the bin.The spa. Only the pool was available. The rest of the spa rooms were out of order. The restaurant. Understaffed. The waiter was rushing around, nervous and impatient. Borderline rude. He needed help. The food was average at best. I ordered the burger and it arrived deconstructed. Never before have I had to build a burger from the ingredients provided. Very odd. The breakfast is very below par. Having stayed in several Hipotels recently I was shocked how poor it was. This hotel costs more per night than others we have stayed at recently. Even my key card was cracked. This hotel isn't up to scratch by a long way. The place is nice but poorly managed and pooly funded. I feel they are changing double what's it's worth as it is. I hope they read this and don't just give the generic reply, but actually do something about it. I feel robbed to be honest. I hate to leave a review like this.
