5 Stars – A Perfect Stay at Hotel Sole We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sole! Each morning began with an excellent breakfast spread: fresh fruit, creamy yogurt, eggs, and a daily rotation of delicious sautéed vegetables. There was an impressive variety of breads, cakes, mini pancakes, jams, honey, cheeses, and cold cuts—everything was fresh and beautifully presented. The breakfast staff was consistently warm and attentive, which made the mornings even more pleasant. Our room was spotless, cozy, and inviting, with a small balcony that opened up to a magical view of the lake—truly unforgettable. The housekeeping staff was friendly and did a great job, and the front desk team was equally kind and helpful. One unexpected bonus: we were able to rent bikes and use the gym at their sister hotel, Hotel Europa, just across the street—completely free of charge! We’ll absolutely be back and would love to stay at Hotel Sole again. Highly recommend!

Hotel Sole was absolutely wonderful. The room was excellently placed for quiet and rest. The beds were slightly too hard for our taste but they did their best to improve them for us. I would have given 5 ⭐ overall if they provided tea/coffee making facilities and also more flexible meal times. Having to wait till 7pm was sometimes quite inconvenient. Meals were wonderful but having to pay for bottle of water with dinner is something to look at! The location is the best in Lake Garda. Riva del Garda is the best place in many people's opinions not just mine.

We appreciated the hotel's fantastic central location and were delighted by the excellent breakfast. However, our stay was unfortunately marred by several service issues. Despite calling ahead to reserve a parking spot and being assured it was confirmed, we arrived to find the garage full, which wasted valuable time searching for alternative parking in the city. Another frustration was the disappearance of our umbrellas, left in the lobby stand during a rainstorm, which were nowhere to be found the next morning. Furthermore, the private sauna we booked for three people was only set up for two, and our request for a second hairdryer was denied. While the room was clean and perfectly adequate, it wasn't particularly remarkable. Overall, it wasn't a terrible stay, but the various disappointments made it feel overpriced. I also see similar reviews regarding parking problem. As a 4 star hotel, i expect them to have additional hair dryer as the one in the bathroom is quite bad.
