Definitely an older/more family-oriented crowd. I’m not sure why. There’s almost no one in their 20s & 30s. Lots of people with young children like under 8 or groups of older women. The rooms were lovely. There were 3 of us and we each got our own bed which was really nice - 2 queens and a twin, so no one had to share. The pool isn’t heated and the jacuzzi is downstairs with the sauna in the fitness center. I wish there was a jacuzzi by the pool. It was very rainy when we visited so for the times it was sunny it would’ve been nice to be by the pool but it was cold. (There were lots of children in the pool no matter if it was sunny, cloudy or rainy so they didn’t seem to mind. The temperature was not enjoyable for me though.) Breakfast came with a lot of food and we got 20% for booking through Expedia. Nothing necessarily negative to say at all but for my age demographic I would try a different hotel next time.
Our stay was underwhelming from start to finish. The room itself looked fine at first glance, but we ran into repeated issues — key cards constantly deactivating, making it a daily ritual to go to reception just to access our room. Noise was a serious problem. We could hear guests, staff, even late-night maintenance. Sleep was tough, and there seemed to be zero enforcement of quiet hours. Service across the board — front desk, restaurant, pool bar — felt disorganized and unwelcoming. Staff were either indifferent or simply overwhelmed. It didn’t feel like guest experience was a priority. As vegetarians, we struggled. There were no solid options on the menu. What we were offered as a substitution lacked protein but was still charged at full price. It felt like dietary needs weren’t taken seriously. Ordering anything at the pool was overly complicated. Just adding a drink to the room took ages and multiple back-and-forths. It turned what should be a relaxing moment into a frustrating one. Facilities didn’t meet expectations either. The gym was outdated and clearly neglected. The sauna wasn’t functional at all — same temperature inside as outside. Breakfast was disappointing: low variety, poor quality, and overpriced. Scrambled eggs came with shells in them. There were barely any vegetables, and only minimal fruit options. To top it off, bringing in outside food is strictly forbidden. We were stopped at the entrance and told to throw away snacks we’d just bought — not exactly a welcoming approach. Even the showers were problematic. Water temperature jumped between boiling and freezing with no way to adjust. All in all, the place looks better on paper than in reality. For the price point, I expected better across every touchpoint — from service to food to basic comfort. I wouldn’t return.
Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the stay Yes, we had a bed. But that’s about the only positive thing I can say. Let me break down our stay: • Room Issues: Every single day, we had problems with our key cards — we were constantly locked out and had to get them reactivated. The rooms were clean but extremely noisy. You could hear everything, from other guests to staff doing construction work at night. There was no respect for quiet hours, and sleep was nearly impossible. • Poor Service: Service at the reception, restaurant, and pool bars was consistently terrible. Staff were unhelpful, disorganized, and seemed uninterested in providing a good experience. • Vegetarian Options: Asking for vegetarian food was pointless. There are no proper vegetarian dishes on the menu. We were offered a “replacement” meal without protein — at the same price as the full meat-based dish. It felt like they were just trying to rip us off. • Overcomplicated Pool Bar System: Ordering drinks or snacks at the pool was a frustrating experience. Adding anything to your room tab was a confusing and unnecessarily complex process for the staff. • Gym & Sauna: The gym was outdated and filthy. The equipment looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The sauna didn’t work — it was the same temperature inside as outside. • Food Quality: The food was simply bad. I found multiple eggshells in the scrambled eggs. There were never any vegetables at breakfast, and on a good day, maybe two kinds of fruit. Meals were extremely overpriced for what was offered. • Outside Food Policy: Bringing food from outside is a big no. Staff will literally stop you at the entrance and force you to throw it away before letting you in. Completely unacceptable and very rude. • Showers: The water temperature in the showers was either scalding hot or ice cold. No in-between. Not relaxing — just stressful. Bottom line: This place is loud, overpriced, and poorly managed. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re into chaos, bad food, and sleepless nights.
