Love the location, very close to the Maxwell train station exit/entrance 3 (like a few steps away). Lots of food options around. Close to Maxwell Food Center. Lobby is not as advertised, they closed off the lounge area so there's really not a lot of places to sit and hang around. But the free drinks are a nice touch. We were in the family room with the Queen bunk beds (room 316). Not a lot of pictures available online so I didn't know what to expect. But the bathrooms are NOT see through so it's OK for friends to book this room. The Queen beds are spacious enough for 2 people. The stairs to the upper bunk is manageable. Each bunk has it's own TV with Netflix and youtube. CONS: NO BIDET IN THE TOILET (this was kind of a deal breaker) and not enough storage in the room (there should be more hooks and shelves especially since this is for 4 people)

The hotel is well situated for Chinatown. It is also a 2 minute walk from the Maxwell MRT station. I'd highly recommend this hotel for a solo traveller, less so for a couple. I had to climb over the missus to get out of bed and you get a pretty good view of your partner sitting on the loo or in the shower! Yes, the rooms are very small. They tell you at check in maximum occupancy of 2 people, which is hilarious because you couldn't get a third person in there if you tried. Our deluxe room had a window, which was both a blessing and a curse. I don't think I'd enjoy having one of the windowless rooms as it would probably be a bit claustrophobic. Having said that, the noise from the street outside with late night bars and clubs made it a bit noisy. Better windows to insulate some of the noise would be a huge improvement, otherwise wear earplugs, especially at the weekend! Having said that, there's still plenty of amenities inside the rooms so, if you don't mind shuffling around each other it's actually alright!

terrible hotel wherever I stay. should be a 1* hostel for young people. the rooms are 6 meters each. very dirty bathroom, dirty and smelly air conditioning, noise from the subway outside the room from the controller in the morning until late at night. very rude service - not a word sorry / generally disrespectful to the customer. I dreamed of being able to leave
