Hotel Solverde Spa and Wellness Center

I stayed with my two children for 4 nights in May this year. The hotel is quite grand and has been well looked after. The facilities are also well looked after especially the pools and spa facilities. Staff were really helpful, knowledgeable of the area and supported us with a range of requests. The front reception staff were excellent and the restaurant service was also excellent. The staff were really accommodating of my younger child’s fussy tastes and put something together off menu. The hotel is quite a bit out of the centre of Porto (20-30 min) but there are some nearby smaller towns and the beach is also nearby. We would definitely stay again due to the facilities and the staff. Porto is a great city and people were really helpful!

Very comfortable stay. Big rooms with all necessary facilities. Great service, delicious breakfast and dinner. Amazing view from the balcony, big swimming pool. They also have big parking, so no headache with a place to park your car. Definitely recommend

Really small room — definitely not a 5-star room. I could hear every single neighbour talking at a normal volume (both sides and above). The piping was exposed and hanging from the walls. The bathroom was very small, old — the furniture was extremely worn and outdated. The toilet was so close to the sink that there was barely any space to sit properly. Also, there was only one plug near the bed, which was really inconvenient. The common facilities were okay. The swimming pools were a decent size, but not large enough to feel comfortable on a busy day. Unfortunately, the ice room and laconium rooms weren’t working during my stay. The breakfast had a bit of everything and the food itself was good, but the display was very unorganised and the overall variety wasn’t that impressive. Check-in and check-out process is extremely slow - I understand wanting to personalise each interaction, however if the staff is lacking the process should be faster. The staff is amazing and everyone was fantastic.
