Hotel Somadevi Angkor Resort & Spa

This is my second visit at this hotel. Location is great. Pub street is walking distance and there are convenient supermarket where you can buy international grocery, beauty/massage salons etc. staff are friendly and polite. The swimming pool is clean and I could enjoy swimming with no one at all around. Their buffet style breakfast was great too. You can enjoy variety of food from local to international. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for two nights and three days to visit Angkor Wat. The location is very convenient—about a 15-minute walk from the airport bus stop (Duty Free Shop) and close to the downtown area. Although the building shows some age, it is well-maintained and perfectly comfortable. The room has a desk, coffee table, and balcony, making it suitable for light laptop work. The price is reasonable, so I felt the cost performance was excellent. It is a hotel I would be happy to stay at again if I visit Siem Reap in the future.

Couldn't fault the service here. All the staff are welcoming and ready to assist. The rooms are good, spacious. The bath is the standout tho. The pool is in the centre courtyard area with a pool bar. Although I didn't use it, it appeared to be well maintained - and welcome relief to weary travelers. I found the food in the restaurant to be on the average side but there are plenty of other meal options not far from the Hotel. Cocktails seemed to be reasonably priced. Location is good. Not far from Pub Street and Marketplace.
