Hotel Sonar Bangla Sundarban

Recently visited with family for a 2N/3D stay at Sonar Bangla, Sundarban, and the experience was fantastic. The hospitality stood out—special thanks to Sreya, and team for going above and beyond when we needed urgent support. Truly grateful! The location is peaceful and close to nature. While there’s not much to see nearby apart from the iconic Sundarbans mangrove forest, the resort itself offers enough comfort and relaxation. The swimming pool was a hit with the family—clean, well-kept, and perfect for unwinding. The food deserves a special shoutout, especially their continental dishes—delicious and with great Variety. The bar was average and could use some upgrades. All in all, it’s an ideal place for a short, refreshing break with family. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We travel from the USA every year to spend quality time with our parents and try to take them somewhere peaceful and relaxing—where they don’t have to put in much effort. This time, we planned a trip to the Sundarbans on short notice and chose to stay at Hotel Sonar Bangla—and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we arrived, everything about the place exceeded our expectations. The ambience, the lush green surroundings, the serene ponds with lily pads, and the overall peaceful vibe made it the perfect getaway for our parents. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. We were also impressed with the swimming pool and the game room, which added a fun and refreshing touch to the stay. The only thing we now regret is not bringing our kids along—they had to stay back for their studies. We know they would have loved every bit of it! Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in comfort and connect with nature without compromising on quality or hospitality.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to the exceptional hospitality and attention to detail from the entire staff. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed warmly and made to feel right at home. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, professional, and eager to assist—making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. A special mention must go to Head Chef Mr. Mondal, whose culinary creations were an absolute highlight of my visit. Each meal was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. His passion for food and commitment to quality truly shine through in every dish. This hotel is a gem, and much of that is due to the dedicated team and the outstanding leadership in the kitchen. I look forward to returning soon!
