Hotel Sonnenhof

We spent a week at the Hotel Restaurant Sonnenhof and had a wonderful time. We came as part of a large family group and were impressed by the way the hotel was able to accomodate us and provide such great service. In addition to having everything you could need for a relaxing holiday and beautiful and accesible scenary, the food was great. I'd like to highlight that we have a celiac child and she had no problems with any of the food during the stay. There was a dedicated gluten free section and the evening meals were adapted to her needs. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone, families, couples, solo travelers, anyone looking for a luxury experience in this beautiful scenery.

This marvellous place, far away from anything that might remind you of hectic daily routine, lies in an open, calm and very often beautifully sunny valley, unspoiled, clean and relaxed. The reception by the Müller-family and their fantastic staff is open-hearted and genuinely friendly. The rooms are fantastic, with breathtaking views of the mountains around. Designed with natural materials and with a lot of space to feel at home at once. Breakfast has everything you ever wished for and even more (some things you did not know existed), lunch and especially dinner definitely is on Michelin star level. So, when received with open arms by the family, feeling like a friend and at home and at the same time dine like a king: what else could one wish?

What a gastronomic experience that was ! And the service was just perfect. Should there be a gym it would be absolutely perfect. But there are plenty of hiking trails to compensate.
