Hotel Sonnenspitze

We visited the hotel in February 2025. It was well-maintained and the staff did their best to make us feel relaxed and cared about. Our room was spacious, clean and modern. The breakfast might have been a bit limited but of good quality. The food and service for dinner were simply excellent, worth of a Michelin guide restaurant. The hotel is very close to the bus stop, taking you to various ski slopes for free. You can even walk on foot to the nearest ski area (Sonnenhang Sunracer). The outdoor swimming pool was warm enough and the scenery at sunset was wonderful after a day out. Ehrwald is perhaps calmer and quieter than the smaller Lermoos, but the evenings in the bar of the hotel were fine. Alternatively, you may want to check the highly-rated Irish pub in Ehrwald, but we did not have the occasion. We would definitely go back one day.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The service was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure comfort. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The location was perfect for sightseeing. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top-notch experience.

Just amazing place. Been there for the second time and going to return in third again. Location is in the middle of the town. Half board meals are insanely good, even though they might feel repetitive at times, but helps you to keep routine during ski week. Spa and relaxation area is a pure bliss, and heated outdoor pool feels surreal in winter after Finnish sauna.
