Really awesome hotel in old style that we really like. The old luggages are cool. The rooms are quite big and really clean. The ambiance is great. The breakfast is amazing and much choises. The food in the restaurant was good and i really enjoyed the good Sangria.
One of the nicest rooms I've stayed in! Very large and at a fantastic price. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful, especially when we accidentally left a bag in the hotel, the staff member (Lisset) was extremely helpful in arranging for its safe return. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.
This is NOT a 4 stars hotel, maybe a 3 stars and being generous. Generally understaffed in all areas and services. To start with we had to wait 5 minutes in reception to check in when we arrived as there was no one around. Rooms are very simple and outdated, also lacking cleanliness - found hairs in towels and bed and dust and dirt in the room and bathroom -. The TV was like 20 years old and didn't work properly. The spa is small and again understaffed - we had to wait +10 mins at the reception as the receptionist was giving a massage to a client -. There are no robes provided so you have to go down dressed and change at the spa, which doesn't offer much privacy to do so. Also two of the showers were out of order and seemed to have been like this for a while and another one seemed to be having plumbing issues. We were in for a romantic dinner at the restaurant... Well, it wasn't romantic in the slightest. It was a 5 course meal with no attention to detail. The plate for the appetizer was never removed from the table, instead the next courses were put on top. We had to ask for an untouched glass and spoon to be changed because they were dirty. Portions were immense and food was bellow average - some of it even directly put out of a bag -. There was also just one waiter with no knowledge of the single white wine on offer. The room we were in was small but had nothing that could give a warm, welcome feeling. Our pack also included a bottle of cava. We first thought it would be waiting for us in the room but after querying with reception they told us we would have the option to have it during dinner or it would be brought up to our room after dinner. We were asked at the restaurant and chose to have it deliver it to our room. We thought they would wait until we were up to deliver it, but it was waiting in our room when we arrived - it felt a little bit uncomfortable that they had gone into our room without our knowledge after we had checked in, it felt invasive. Breakfast this morning was also below average for a 4 star hotel. Food options were somewhat limited, with the hot offer not looking appetising at all. There was also just one coffee machine for everyone making only espresso or double espresso and taking ages to make those, hence the queue was long. I guess that was giving us time to go through all the cups there to find one that was properly clean. There was also a toaster, but after waiting for 5 minutes on the queue and seeing that the bread in was still white at that point, I gave up. All in all the hotel doesn't deliver what they say they do and definitely doesn't deserve 4 stars. I would also recommend NOT to book their romantic getaway, it is not romantic at all.
