Hotel Sor

the value of the total is unbeatable. i never got a great room with unbelievable breakfast buffet for less then $20 a night. Central in the city with everything really close walking distance for me- riverside easy and cheap with a tuk tuk. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room good but nothing special and with a bit of a smell that when complained was quickly dealt with- but yes the bathroom might be the issue. i should have booked a room with balcony to dry my wet clothes. the gym ok but not equipped with much so if you want to work out well this might be an issue for you.

Buffet breakfast is great, but that's about where it ends. Room was fine, ok bed and ok ac. Daily cleaning is good. Two water bottles standard. Location is the issue. Not close to anything interesting and long walk to the lively riverfront area where you really want to be at night. Not much is around this hotel. And it's on a very busy street that's a little dicey to cross a lot. Also no pool. The "gym" has almost nothing to it. Not terrible. Not great either.

The hotel is located to many musical instruments and sound equipment shops. Walking distance to food and local markets. The room was decent but a musty smell around in the rooms. Ensure getting a room that's not facing the main road as traffic noise is not filtered . What impressed me was the cleanliness of the small swimming pool.
