Hotel Sorra Daurada Splash

Just after checking out , really enjoyed this hotel, pools are absolutely fantastic for all ages. Lovely quiet spacious areas around pool, no one ever on top of you. Pool bar and food was lovely as were the staff. The restaurant was perfect for breakfast and lunch , evening meals was a bit hit and miss, suppose that depends what your looking for. We didn’t mind as we had planned on having a few evening meals out . Reception staff were very helpful, all staff in general was lovely. Only let down we did have was cleaners in the bedroom. Second day no change of towels, on day 3 I had to ask at reception to see when the room would be cleaned and they looked shocked that it hadn’t been cleaned. Just towels and bins was the issue. But overall we had a fantastic stay, evening entertainment could definitely be improved. Most evenings it was the same young girl showing kids dances while playing music and she was basically on her own entertaining all the kids in the hotel. Don’t let that put you off though because she was fantastic

This place was brilliant just back from a week there with my partner & kids. Pools were amazing kids loved them. Also a short walk to the beach. Food was what you would expect at an all inclusive some good day and some not so. But always something someone would like. Snack bar and pool bar staff were so great. Entertainment at night was cheesy but enjoyable our youngest loved it. Would defo go back.

This was our first all inclusive holiday with our 4 year old. The hotel was immaculate, and the room was kept very clean. The beds were very comfy (I think they had a foam topper). I would have preferred a kettle in the room (you can hire for €20 but doesn't come with tea/ coffee. We ran out of space to hang out clothes to dry. But there was a mini fridge and nice little balcony. There was no menu of snacks available, but generally was serving the same things all week (chips/ onion rings / salad / chicken or fish cakes and ice cream). The breakfast is 08:00-10:00, and lunch 13:00 - 14:30, which are good times. The Evening meal starts at 7pm, quite late for our 4year old who got grumpy due to waiting to eat. But there was always pizza and chips available lunch and tea for our fussy little one which was popular so people were lining up to get these. The selection of the food in the main dining room was very good, and served hot. All drinks were served by staff, which can mean a line of 4 - 16 people in the queue. It would be better if the serve soft drinks were self-serve. We got lucky with the time of year, didn't know about the water park opening dates (which should be highlighted on the website we booked on - love holidays.com) as it just said open from May, and we arrived a day after it opened. The local big water parks were not yet open, but our 4 year old LOVED the pirate ship area, this was certainly the highlight of the holiday. All pools have 1-2 lifeguards which was reassuring. Where the pirate ship but was, there was very limited shade, and the heat could be too much. - At the pool areas there was a separate eating area your asked to use (you can't eat at the lounger) but this helped keep it clean. - The entertainment is good for 4 years and under (1 hour of the same songs, made our child familiar to join in). The kids activities were on most days, for a short time, doing thinks like nail painting one day, pool games like collecting coloured balls thrown in the pool, and face paint in the evening , all done by one lady (appropriate for ages 4 and under). - The beach is a 5 minute walk, and was lovely, and finer sand the more you walked across. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and know what things we would want to look out for on our next All inclusive (self service mainly for soft drinks).
