Staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and well located. Restaurant dining and front bar are amazing. From booking to check out, every staff member was fantastic to deal with. We had a wonderful time with our staff and their partners. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back again.

Hotel Sorrento is such a special place — full of character, charm, and that timeless coastal elegance. Every time we go, we immediately feel a sense of peace and calm that makes our visit always memorable. The location is stunning, and the atmosphere is incredibly serene. Breakfast each morning was a highlight — generous, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you want to linger just a little longer. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the one thing to mention that some couches in the rooms are old and uneven but this is minor and wouldn't impact having a relaxed and comfortable stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a place with soul, beauty, and great hospitality.

I have stayed here many times and usually like it but this time around it wasn't great and I doubt I will stay here again after this experience. I spent $450 per night for the apartment type room. Basically it is a room with a sofa and fireplace. It is great room with a great view. This time though, the hotel did not inform us prior to booking of things I would consider important. Firstly there is construction as you pull up, tradesmen everywhere and a new building going up. Then inside the apartment nice view of the water and more construction on the other side with big earth moving equipment. Putting that aside, we are woken both Saturday and Sunday morning to rubbish collection. Right outside our apartment is one of those massive rubbish trucks that lifts the massive bin into the truck. It decided to come at 7am Sunday morning. I informed the staff at check out and the girl just giggled and said "yes the rubbish trucks come every morning and you never know what time they will turn up" I mean for $450 a night, really, come on people, you can do better than this. Message to this hotel, next time inform customers prior to paying $900 for 2 nights that they will be woken by rubbish trucks in the morning, that there is construction both sides of their accommodation or offer a discount. I feel really ripped off on this occasion.
