Hotel Spa Congreso

Lovely rooms, fantastic spa & pool, great breakfast buffet, and an AMAZING massage by Carla!

Arrived at the hotel 45 min ago an the expeirince I'm having so far is a complete mess. It's the second time I'm here, was here 5/6 years ago and I don't Rembert it being like that. First problem started when I tried to book the spa, when we arrived we ask for it at the reception but the lady said we just need to Dial 500 on the phone in our room to talk directly to the spa. When we arrived at the room we found out that our phone is not working, so I called the reception from my personal phone and they told that there is nothing they can do, I need to physically go there and talk with her college there... Despite this being just garbage service I decided to go (it's a 5 min walk, one way) and when I talked to the lady she just kept frowning when I told here that we have a 3 year old kid with us. I told here the little one was sleeping but she had zero flexibility for us, she only gave us 2 options, or go right now or tomorrow morning as 10.30, check out is 12.00... We agreed to it and she gave us the bathrobes (there's non in our room) but with a warning! She said "if you let the cleaning lady take them I cannot give others tomorrow"... Seriously? After all this I decided to go to the bar to have something to eat, a sandwich or so, just to find out that there's nothing. I've asked the staff who was working there and he just said "We have nothing to eat but if you want up on the street is a Burger King"... Really? This was all in 45 minutes... We 20 more hours to go... Pray for us!

It should be rated as a 1 star hotel. Rooms need updating, shower was the worse one ever, you can hear any little noise from the hallway, ac wasn't working. Came down for breakfast or look like a tornado had gone thru the dining room, trays were pick over, old deli meat, tables were dirty. Don't waste your money
