Hotel & Spa Gut Matheshof BW Signature Collection

Fantastic experience. Rooms big, clean. Breakfast phenomenal and free parking space. Also in a quiet area. We book every time we travel home during Christmas period. Definitely worth the price.

We were looking for a hotel in a green, peaceful setting where we could find rest and relaxation. We found exactly that here. The service was excellent, and there’s a dedicated area in the underground garage for bicycles, where eBikes can also be charged. We will definitely come back.

Ok, so the room is overall ok, quiet and bed was ok. Parking garage under the hotel, just the parking spots are probably ment for Smart or Fiat Panda owners only... Restaurant food was normal (expected al lot better, but let's not go there), but the older male waiter should really get some service guidance.... And finally - on the first morning of our stay there, there was a fire alarm in the hotel. Like a REAL thing, with burning trash in the garage area and smoke filled reception.... And NOBODY from the staff sis not knew, what to do! Breakfast was served as usual, only when the firemen arrivwd, then they "kicked" customers out of the hotel and demanded, that staff must check, if all the people are counted (and alive 😉). HOW can this hotel pass any safety inspection???
